 Adding worms to the grow bed will contribute to the overall health of an aquaponic system.
  Macrobrachium Rosenbergii larvae, catched in a fresh water stream in Sierra Leone. Prawns will be added to the system to feed on the fish feaces.

The gravel is filled in each growbed. 
Transporting fish over longer distances requires air input. A airstone connected to a pump keep the fish alive during transportation.

NFT-system: For the NFT-system, simple water bottles are used to hold the substrate. This is a cheap and easy to apply method for the NFT-system. With the help of a hot iron, drainage holes are perforated around the bottle end before stucked in the pipes.
